Arkansas Trucking Association wants you to join us in recognizing and thanking professional truck drivers. OnThursday, September 17, ATA will partner with TA Petro in North Little Rock to providelunch and laundryin order to show our appreciation for the men and women who have proved that the loads they carry are essential to our way of life.
Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 13 - 19. During this annual event, our industry celebrates the millions of professional truck drivers who work each day to deliver America's freight. Their job is never easy, but as they continue to serve communities throughout the pandemic, they face new challenges.
When the world stopped to contend with a virus, truck drivers didn't stop. On this day, and every day, they deserve our thanks. And now Gov. Hutchinson has officially recognized September 13 - 19 as Truck Driver Appreciation Week in Arkansas. Read the press release and executive proclamation here.
To keep our drivers safe and healthy, we've retooled our usual appreciation event, and there are several new ways you can get involved.
