Robert McDonald, is a claims consultant and vice president of transportation and logistics for McGriff. He specializes in retail and transportation with over 30 years of experience in managing claims, claims adjuster, and program management.
McDonald worked as the director of claims for Con-way/XPO Logistics for several years managing claims for the truckload, less-than-truckload, cartage and drayage operation and last-mile service. He has also worked for several insurance carriers over the years holding many positions throughout his carriers. McDonald has a B.A. in business administration from the Western Washington University, an MBA from Seattle University and an associate of risk management aka ARM.
In his off time, McDonald enjoys coaching soccer for the Rose City Soccer Club and is also the president of this club.
Paula Lowder, assistant vice president and claims consultant McGriff
Paula Lowder is the McGriff claims consultant and liaison between member and Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., McGriff's third-party claims administrator. She operates as the claims advocate for members with over 25 years of experience within the industry. Specifically, Lowder has experience in high-level claims management, working previously as a senior claims examiner, claims supervisor, workers’ compensation manager, and as the branch manager for a claims administrator. She excels in managing client relations and resolving both small and complex claims issues. Lowder coordinates the Claims Management Committee, McGriff's claims-handling client service procedures, and claims audits. Lowder is located in Colorado.
